Well, yeah. I'm sorry I'm on a bit of an art block/laze, kay? I put education first, as everyone should. Anyways...*cough*
Haven't gotten any good chances to work on anything. So sue me for still not getting to some trades and gifts I owe after six months. Anyways, was browsing around Aimee Major's stuff last night (www.aimeemajor.com) and found some old animation tutorials. Was able to view them by changing aimee.wynerva or whatever to aimeemajor.com.
Anyways, I'm considering simply leaving DA, LJ, and every other place that's keeping me SO overloaded with crap and just stressing me out so badly. And what I plan on doing is simply focusing on one little website with my art, updates, info, and possibly journal. (probably only to give fun updates on non-private stuff going on in my life) This change most likely would/will be gradual over the summer, seeing as I know it would be a huge shock for most of my friends.
But I know you've heard me thinking about this. I've considered it for two years now, and really think it would be the SMARTEST thing to do before I get the shockwave of going into highschool next year. Besides, since I got accepted into the Accelerated AP English program, I have to do twice as much work. Just this summer I have to read The Hobbit and this other huge book aswell as define 20 terms! We get quizzed on them the first day in AP. I'm also starting Algebra, a higher level class, and Biology, a step up from Science. Ontop of that I put down Journalism and Art I for electives, meaning most of the time I'll be knee-deep in my school stuff.
Anyways, I'm sure you don't wanna hear me ramble on about my school. But I'm working this summer on starting my animation self-teaching classes. I'll be spending most of my free time practicing quick-sketches, going to parks for life-study, and doing all I can to prepare for an art college. It seems all really boring, but I really think Novel writing and Animation are my key careers. Animation mostly.
So anyways. Yeah. Wanted to know ya'lls opinions about this probable change. (that possibly means I'll be gradually leaving my attachedatthehip forums, AWW and AoW. I may just try keeping AWW, but it's not definite.)
This is not drastic or spur-of-the-moment. It's considering-my-health-and-priorities type thinking. I love the internet, but I am going to admit it can take over your life, and I can't let that happen. I have to somehow restrict my time to 30 min. a day. I don't have time anymore to waste away on here. Yes, maturity is a sad but honest thing.

Oh, and Happy late V-day. Sorry I didn't have time to draw anything. :/
